The Elevator
“Bella have you got your coat we need to go now”.”Ok mum I'm coming”.
“So are you excited to come to my work”.”Um sure”.”So what is it that you do exactly”.”Well I write the cooking segment in the cooking time magazine”.”cool”. I turn the music on to fill in the time and my mum starts to sing.We arrive at my mums work and I'm so glad to get out of the car because her singing is so painful. We walk inside and there's not many kids which is surprising because there is so many old people. We get to my mums work unite and I start playing on the spinning chair.”Get of that chair it's not a toy”. ”Fine, I’m going to the toilet anyway be back soon”,”ok”.
I walk down the hallway and it's cold and the lights start to flicker I walk into the elevator and see a pink sparkly button that says PRESS ME.
So I do what any 8 year old girl would do I press it.
The elevator starts to shoot down all the levels and past the very bottom floor. My vision starts to go blurry and a spark shoots up my whole body and explodes like a firework and my body starts to go numb and I fall to the ground in shock.
I open my eyes and my vision is blurry. I stand up and my eyes start to get better. The elevator door opens and a bright light is shining in my eye. I walk out of the elevator and see …..
“Where is that girl she should be back by now”.”Frank can you come here please?”.”Be there in a sec Miss”. Frank ran down the hall and got Bella's mom's coffee to her. ”Yes what seems to be the problem. ” I can’t find Bella anywhere”. ”Well im sure shes just playing with another kid or messing about with the elevator you know kids are always playing in the elevator go up and down all the levels”.”Ok you're probably right”.
My jaw drops its the most wonderful thing I have ever seen in my life. I hear a faint noise echo through the room my favorite song playing I start singing to the chorest “Lollipops and unicorns everywhere I go hey!” I look around the room and see lollipops the size of me, a chocolate fountain and the most magical thing of all UNICORNS!
I run over to the chocolate fountain and cup my hands together and start drinking the chocolate out of the fountain. I turn around and see a boy. He had dark brown hair and blue eyes like the colour of the pacific ocean. He introduced himself ,”Hello there my name is charlie and you must be Bella. I was speechless he was the boy of my dreams.”Ah ah um hi yeah I’m bella”.
Hey look what's that over there it looks like door. Charlie opens the door and hands suddenly reach out and grab him.”NO CHARLIE COME BACK. I run into the darkness and see a very faint light in the distance, a dark figure runs into the light and I start to chase it thinking it has Charlie. I started to lose my breathe but I keeped running I could feel my heart beating two beats then a pause repeating the rhythm. The figure stopped and put charlie down and turned around and looked at me, It started to walk towards me. As the figure got closer I could see its face it was a girl who looked about 12 she had straight brown hair and brown eyes she wore a lacy white dress with blood stain marks. As she got closer and closer she stopped a meter away from me.
“Hello”
I started to freak out inside but tried not to show my fear.
“So you pressed the button”. The girl laughed. ”You kids fall for it every year”. ”Fall for what”?
“Think about it, why would a button suddenly appear, haven't you ever watched horror movies something magical happens the suddenly a mad person appears”. ”Just think of me as the mad person”.
